The Simple Way to Send a Secret Signal
Like most brilliant ideas, the concept behind Minda is very simple, although the elctronics
involved are complex. Just press a button on the transmitter to send a signal to the receiver.
On the receiver, an LED indicator lights up when signal is received. Depending on local conditions,
transmissions can be received up to 300 feet away.
The receiver can monitor up to four transmitters, each of which can send two different status signals.

The key fob transmitter has an LED confidence light to confirm transmission. Low battery
condition is automatically signalled to the receiver.
The receiver is very small, so it can easily be carried in a pocket or worn on a belt. It is
controlled by a low power micro-processor and features a user-select audible tone or silent vibration
to notify that a transmission has been received. The four pairs of LED indicators can then be checked
to identify the signal. An audible alert can be given if the receiver is jammed by interference.
A desktop/vehicle receiver is available for transmissions up to 600 feet, or up to 1200 feet
with an optional base station antenna. This unit can be 110 VAC operated and can also be used to activate
remote equipment.

With this high level of versatility and effectiveness in such a discreet package, it's not
surprising that Minda devices are standard equipment for several high level security operations.
What you will find surprising, however, is the low price of the system - less than the cost of a
quality
home video camera!
Other applications for Minda devices include: surveillance by Customs officials, or store and
hotel security staff, workplace violence protection, employee safety,
for personal security by VIPs and healthcare proffesionals; and even for
initiating a diversion during business negotiations.
